    This has got to be one of the dumbest videos posted to YouTube. No wonder the YourTube poster disabled comments.

    Outside the U.S., Credit Cards use chip authenication. You do not slide them in a machine to read the magnetic strip, you insert them in the credit card machine and the information is read from the chip. It is far more secure to use chip-based credit cards.

    Nearly all new cards issued today in the U.S. contain chips so they can be used internationally.
