T-Cells . The dirty word/s to the forum's home grown vaccine specialist

Discussion in 'Politics' started by TreeFrogTrader, Dec 30, 2021.

  1. Y'all who followed the hundreds of threads on covid know that certain individuals treated the words "t-cells" like someone shouting fire in a theater. The primary actor there would rise to snuff that out as soon as possible and has held fast to that position.

    Nope.

The headlines of articles across the board this week are about how T-cells are not only highly effective against Omicron but are also at the center of efforts to develop a pan-vaccine that will be effective across many/most covid strains.

As I said earlier many times before I dropped out of those repetitive discussions: "T-CELLS, DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT THEM."

    So answer us one question...

An individual exhibits no detectable Covid anti-bodies from either vaccination or previous infection. What is the probability that they will have a T-cell response to Covid?

Let me answer this for you -- the answer is ZERO -- if a person has no detectable anti-bodies there is ZERO probability of them having a T-Cell response to ward off Covid.

This is why they use anti-body tests (and not T-cell tests) to determine if you are protected against Covid (the same with other diseases such as measles, mumps, etc.).

  3. Here we go, right on schedule.

The aforementioned starts howling like a wolf.

I wonder what will happen if/when they develop that pan-vaccine based on T-cell stimulation. I wonder if GWB will suddenly become an anti-vaxxer. That would be fun, eh?

GWB, I am just following the science here based on the plethora of articles and reports. Take it up with them.

Name a single vaccine for a virus which does not cause the creation of anti-bodies against the disease. Oh wait, there is none.

For over a year we had to put up with jem and other idiots -- claiming that T-cells would magially protect you against Covid even if you had no anti-bodies. It was all part of their "natural immunity" nonsense that these magical T-cells would show up and therefore we were close to "herd immunity". Obviously -- to rational people -- everything they pushed is pure bullshiat.

China has the original virus (kept secret) preventing a real vaccine that could have been made.
Covid will mutate into a common cold soon enough.
Gov't is a celebration of malice and stupidity.

Yes.. so explain to us once again.... An individual exhibits no detectable Covid anti-bodies from either vaccination or previous infection. What is the probability that they will have a T-cell response to Covid?

What triggers a T-cell response in the body? Please explain to us your theory. Does it magically spring up when no anti-bodies are present?

It is long overdue for people to stop confusing T-cell response with Anti-body Immunity.
