I've had the pleasure of being checked out by seals long distance swimming off the West coast of Ireland a couple of times. I got a nibble mark on of my fins once. We would have the fins strapped to the back for safety if the weather turned.

I wish I had known they are so approachable. They are definitely curious. The Irish legend is that some seals are selkies, a kind of mermaid that can transform between human and seal. Probably in recognition of their intelligence.

Not sure why this is free on Dailymoton now, used to be in Netflix but a wonderful watch with little kids.

    Basically doges of the seas.

Even for an adult, an animation like this once a year, could serve as a therapy session. Ofcourse we can see all of the little cheap psychological tricks that aims to our emotional thinking, but at the same time, one can turn it off and simply enjoy this childish story.
Faaaaaaaar away from all of the horrors of these days.
