I have recently came across this prop firm. Has anyone used them before ? They sound legit and their websites are offering decent rules . Im just curious to other peoples experiences
According to Investopedia... Institutions such as brokerage firms, investment banks, and hedge funds frequently have proprietary trading desks. However, there are restrictions against large banks engaging in prop trading, designed to limit the speculative investments that contributed to the 2007-2008 financial crisis. Zippia states that proprietary trader salaries typically range between $60,000 and $165,000 a year. On the other hand, SurgeTrader apparently charges YOU $6,500 for an "audition fee." That sounds more like a contest to me—not like a financial business firm. From what I understand, the legitimate way to become a proprietary trader is to earn a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or mathematics; and then complete at least one internship with a trading firm to learn about the finance industry and make professional connections. At that point, one can apply for an entry-level proprietary trader role... or so says ziprecruiter.
