The Securities Commission of The Bahamas has notified the firm that, pursuant to sections 133(1)(b) and (f), and 133(3) of the Securities Industry Act, 2011 (“the Act”), SASL’s continued registration under the Act is suspended for five (5) days, ending Tuesday September 24, 2019. I didn't know Suretrader is a broker out of the Bahamas. Wasn't the Bahamas recently wiped out by a hurricane ? wrbtrader
The Bahamas extends nearly 600 miles, the hurricane only really damaged the Abacos and Grand Bahama. While it's doubtful that Suretrader actually has any humans or infrastructure in the Bahamas, if they did one would expect it to be in Nassau which wasn't impacted.
They are in Nassau. I have even seen where they are. And no, I am sure its because they are fishy at best. Anyone who has been to Nassau would not be surprised.
