Years ago implantable device manufacturers got the rules changed so that the proof has to be that device does overall more harm than good instead of just harming someone. That is the equivalent of complete immunity from lawsuits almost. Europeans can't get much from suing implantable manufacturers. That is why devices are introduced in Europe. Our businesses want us to take their word on everything. They want us to buy food without labels, accept medical procedures with no recourse, etc.. Nobody is going to fix this, Democrats had complete control of all three branches of government for awhile and nothing at all was done. Republicans are for all of this of course...
