    I'm disappointed. Yellen is an advocate of negative interest rates. What would THAT do to us and the notion of fiscal responsibility?

    this is some amazing s$^t we're going through.. wish I had become a historian so I could read up on previous times this has happened! I guess Japan is some kind of a parallel, very low rates for a very long time now...

    Who cares who the new chairman is. The chairman is only the Fed's mouthpiece, he/she only gets one vote on monetary policy just like everyone else. Whether the new chairman is a dove or hawk will not affect policy.
