Hi! I'm looking for suggestions about a trading platform for a new trader. Started learning almost 2 months ago and wanna start trading with real money. I live in Australia and used the platform CMCmarkets.com. But I can't use their mobile app on my phone. Google play store tells me '' this item is not available in your country". Any suggestion if you live in Australia and wanna use mobile as well? I need a mobile version. I can't carry my laptop with me if I only wanna check my trade...lol Thank you
Use a regulated broker that trades on regulated exchanges such as www.interactivebrokers.com instead of a bucket shop that takes the other side of your trades. (though IB does Cfd as well). IB have a mobile app.
IG are ok and are in the same league as CMC. Their mobile app is better but that is subjective. Depends on what you want to see. I have been trading CFD's for years so do not believe the myth of bucket shop. Those days are long gone as they all provide trading API's so if they play with prices there will be arbitrage opportunities for the quick and institutionals. That said, be careful with your stops. What are you thinking of trading?
Have you looked into infinity AT webbased cloud based trading platform? Can trade off any device ..phone...computer..windows based or apple...?
Lots of platforms have Apps. Friendly advice since you're new, DO NOT TRADE ON THE PHONE. Unless it's urgent always trade focused at a computer with all the tools you could need made available. It's too easy to break your own rules with the apps.
Completely agree with you on trading from computer, but I also wanna be able to check my trades on the phone. That's my reason
What do I think about trading? It's a mess...lol Anyone try to ''sell'' you the idea that is not rocket science. But then when you do is different. P.S. I'm at the start of the journey so everything is new and complicated...
