Politicians are the rulers, we are the plebs.

    Bow down to the rulers.

Tariffs will cripple globalism, think of DC and Brussels as head lice and Trump as a dose of ivermectin.

  4. And many actually think this is a good idea or should I say can't even comprehend what a tariff is.

The one that makes me laugh is the threat of 100% tariff on chips from Taiwan, at a time when the demand is skyrocketing. I can't wait for Taiwan to :finger:, stop shipping them to the US and sell them to China, India and everywhere else in the world.
That would put a damper on US based AI development as the 7 move their AI warehouses in Canada and Mexico.:banghead:

You know how sometimes you break a commonsensical rule in your trading, but end up being rewarded with a profit (whereas if you had followed your rules, you would have a loss), and that reinforces your worst gamblling devils and then of course you keep breaking your rules until you get your ass handed to you...?

Threaten tariffs! -- Colombia narco government backs down (imho, not because of the tariffs, but because of the personal sanctions, but that's another story) -- THREATEN MORE TARIFFS!

Now, he'll probably get some additional concession by Mexico or Canada... and keep upping the bet until he bets one too many times (maybe Taiwan as you point out, maybe something else) and makes the US bankrupt. And of course then he'll blame it on DEI or the gays, or Pelosi's husband or that pizza parlor or whatever... and the MAGA crowd will still buy it.

25% tariff on all imports from Mexico means the Fed will have to incease rate at the next meeting.
