This is my first post in this forum. One thing which always puzzled me is stock volume. How does a stock always hit the minimum volume every day. For example, if we take google, every day it trades a min volume of 1 million shares.
Minimum volume is 0. The more trading interest in an instrument, the more volume you will typically see. Some are very reliable, but you can also find obscure stocks with 0 volume sometimes, often or always. Your GOOG example, there are days with less than 1 mill. volume too.
