I've stumbled across a bunch of different screeners (with no luck) and could write something myself but I'm hoping there is a simple solution. I want to grab US equities by volume (daily, "average", whatever) and save them as csv/excel. Any ideas?
Finviz.com - but paid version. https://www.google.com/finance/stockscreener but I'm not sure if there was option to download it.
ya not many sites let you export the data. i had always used the yahoo java screener but they've since removed it. http://www.nasdaq.com/reference/stock-screener.aspx is a good replacement
I remember, 15 years back, copy and pasting 20 sheets from a stock screen into my tracker system, right pain in the ass I can tell you, every damn night, follow by checking charts of all flagged as interested, then all that broke over the 21ema or volume spikes and other criteria, those where the days. May suck at daytrading compared to stock swing trading, but much prefer the hours being like 1 - 2 per day, stocks took up 12hours per day easy!
Figured it out. Thinkorswim has an export on their screener. Glad I have a tda account hanging around.
