  4. wow, talk about buying a baseball team at the top? The stadiums were all empty before covid. Wouldnt touch a baseball team with a 10 foot pole. Only concession is that the ny tax payers get stuck with the stadium tab. The purchase is Not really much money for him. I think he could use the thing as a very longterm tax writeoff

    Sports is not about fans in the stands. Its about TV TV and TV.
     
  7. Sports teams provide amazing long term returns and other streams of revenues beyond how many butts are in the seats. NY is the largest media market for sports and he will do just fine over the long term.
