Looks like Sterling Trading bought Live Vol X and rebranded it as Sterling Vol Trader. See https://www.sterlingtradingtech.com/sterling-voltrader/ Anyone use it? What are the fees like? All I do is manage my portfolio option greeks, analyze IVs/skews and look at option order flow so this seems to hit the marks, but not sure if worth the price over stock Think or Swim, which does a decent job. Also, anyone know how this is different than Live Vol Pro offered by CBOE?
dfd, At this time, LVX is only available for our clients at IB. We hope to have it set up for our Wedbush clients in the next 60 days. https://www.lightspeed.com/trading-platforms/livevol-x/ If you want to give it a try with an account of $25K or more at IB, let me know . Then when we can offer it at Wedbush I have more control over commissions rates and service. You can try a demo here, please add that you heard about us from Elite Trader so it hot my console. https://www.lightspeed.com/demo-request/ What I can offer right now is a Reg-T or PM account at Wedbush with anther DMA platfrom like Sterling Trader Pro, Lightspeed Trader, Real Tick or Silexx for execution and LVX for analytics only, until that can be used for both. I'd have to speak to you to see what fits you best. Bob
Thanks for this. I have an account with IB and don't want to switch accounts at this time. Is it still possible to use LVX?
Free with an account with us with another trading platfrom for execution. Free at IB with an account with LS as your broker at IB, and you can use it for execution. or use TWS.
Bob- can one use a non-Livevol platform for execution with LS as introducing broker and clear through IB? e.g. Realtick through Lightspeed while clearing at IB
