Staying Long anyone?

  1. Who out there is long the current equity index markets and plans to stay long this time next week and, or for the rest of the month.
It will be interesting to see how that works out for you:cool:

  2. Use maximum leverage and stay long until it doesn't work anymore. :D

  3. $$$ Been long for quite sometime. Stop in place. Thanks for your concern. $$$

  5. So, I guess you guys see further upside from these levels?
How much more do you expect before we see a retracement?

  6. There is no risk in certain equities like TRMM, GROW, BJS, DVR, etc.

Even during the tech bubble, there were still many value plays.

I'm short and underwater. Bu then again I'm short at a very close number to our "new alltime high." I'm also a masochist and like watching myself bleed in the mirror while trading and scream out the window occasionally to scare away any potential visitors. Like the Celtic warriors I like to paint myself blue and trade naked. Word has it we need to pull more dough in before we trap the new money longs.

    Thanks.

In the end the question is how to manage the position and how hard can they squeeze me until things go my way.

Many bulls have to eventually take profits, to many are bullish, some sectors this week are up 3-5%. I do hold long and short position however I'm holding a bit more positions on the short side. Am I worried, yea, but this market along with every other market around the world has really gotten ahead of itself. No one was ready for the sell off we had back in mid 2006 and I don't think many will be ready for this next one either.
