State Farm accused of pushing LGBTQ+ books on kids, Consumers’ Research launches ‘Like a Creepy Neighbor’

State Farm is being accused of recruiting agents to push books about gender fluidity on young children, and a new ad campaign by Consumers' Research slams the insurance giant as "a creepy neighbor" to spotlight claims by an internal whistleblower.

"Consumers’ Research is launching a campaign against State Farm Insurance because, recently a whistleblower brought to our attention evidence – email chain traffic – showing that they have been intentionally trying to target kindergartners for discussions around transgender issues, sexual identity issues, without notifying their parents or without their consent, and specifically targeting them in the public schools," Consumers' Research executive director Will Hild Fox News Digital.

"State Farm is partnering with The Gender Cool Project to help diversify classroom, community center and library bookshelves with a collection of books to help bring clarity and understanding to the national conversation about Being Transgender, Inclusive and Non-Binary. The project’s goal is to increase representation of LGBTQ+ books and support our communities in having challenging, important and empowering conversations with children Age 5+," Soto wrote. "Agents are key to the success of this program. Nationwide, approximately 550 State Farm agents and employees will have the opportunity to donate this 3-book bundle to their local teacher, community center or library of their choice."

It will be really interesting what happens next, especially in Florida as apparently State Farm is getting into the legislation bill that burned Disney.

You would think that most corporations would just wisely stay out of these issues and focus on business. It's one thing to oppose legislation -- it's another to proactively send out children's books which are likely to offend a good portion of your customers.

Its amazing that a program like this could wind its way through many departments and executive sign offs...Then in 48 hours forced to issue a public apology.

    Its a sign woke infection
Its a few employees who promote their own agenda cloaked within a corporation reputation
Yellow-belly corporate leaders are afraid to axe such movements...causes to many internal battles....The threat of trending on Twitter is the woke weapon

In a similar situation of out-of-control corporate marketing which is backtracked on...

I guess celebrating the end of slavery by paying the Walton family to work people to death for a pittance --- didn't work out so well for the corporate image.

Walmart is pulling its Juneteenth ice cream off the shelves after backlash on social media.

The ice cream had a swirl of red velvet of cheesecake flavors and urged buyers to "share and celebrate African-American culture, emancipation and enduring hope."

Many accused Walmart of using the federal holiday as a marketing scheme.

WRAL News found the item at a Raleigh Walmart, but the ice cream was not located in the system at check-out and was unavailable for purchase. One employee said they would be throwing the ice cream out.

WRAL's Chris Lovingood reached out to Walmart with several questions, such as whether proceeds from the ice cream sales were planned to go to charitable organizations when the ice cream was still in stock.

Juneteenth, or June 19, is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the abolition of slavery in the U.S.

The day is meant to commemorate the end of slavery for slaves in Texas, who weren't emancipated until two years after Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation.

Traditionally, celebrations consisted of barbecues, music, prayer and church services. As Black Texans moved to other areas across the U.S., the tradition spread throughout the country.

In 2021, Gov. Cooper and Mayor Mary-Ann Baldwin declared June 19 as Juneteenth Day in North Carolina and in the City of Raleigh.

Slavery did not end on Juneteenth. In some cases, slave owners withheld information about Black Americans freedom, and others refused to release their slaves until forced to.

  9. What kind of bullshit is this..

What... we dont have Memorial Day Sales.... president's day sales....Christmas Sales...July 4th Sales....

Now all of a sudden there is an issue with using a federal holiday as a marketing scheme?
