SPX option quotes are all over the place!

I am looking at some crazy quotes on spx options, 1 week, 3 weeks... bid and ask is mental.

 

Can bid/ask liquidity cause a margin call on a defined risk trade like a narrow vertical?

I have seen bid going to 0 whilst the ask was showing 220... 7dte atm

 

yes, the spreads are everywhere, even the middle can’t get a fill, had to be near the bid.

 

certainly glad I bought all my protective puts before this little tempest appeared

 

but can you exit?

 

easier to exercise them imho

 

fake news..market manipulation..these all happen when the market is BROKEN

 

you will holding odorless excrement even assembled

 

iirc, exercising a put means the other person is obligated to hold the excrement

 

and you pay the money to smell? cow or human’s
