    No, it's in East Bay, popular with the professional crowd. A few miles to the South is the exclusive enclave of Alamo and more upscale Danville. East Bay is full of wealthy towns eg Lamorinda, short for Lafayette, Moraga and Orinda.

  3. Wow. I'm surprised at the size of the estate and quality for that price.
    I hear "San Francisco" and "New York" and think 2.39MM gets you a 1 bedroom facing a brick wall (parking space not included). :D

    Yeah I was gonna post the same sentiment as well. This one should sell fast based on the other ones DM has posted from the SF market. I looked up that area on wiki.... 2 bart stations which is nice for the commute I would think. 17 miles east of Oakland... lots of outdoor amenities, the city bought a whole bunch of land to preserve... good schools... if I had the money I'd buy to flip and make a fast 400K.
    I bet its already in contract.

    Price seems about right. East Walnut Creek always runs a bit cheaper.

    That is a truly gorgeous property. And so romantic too.
