French trader sent me this garbage by PM, it links to a site, which is just trying to gather data, I edited out the Link to his site which he left at the end of the message so no one would click on it. Hi Max E. Pad, I am currently working on a trading tool designed to help retail traders to build their positions and manage their risks. I got the idea by speaking with friends, reading forums and personal trading. My background is a French engineer diploma in financial engineering and a master in quantitative finance. Before starting the project I worked as portfolio manager assistant in a quantitative fund in Paris and as a derivatives trader in a big bank in London. Before getting too far ahead of myself, I wanted to make sure other retail traders share these problems and see whether this was a product worth building and I am interviewing traders to get a deeper insight. I saw you are active on EliteTrader and I would like to set up a quick 15-20 minutes interview with you. The interview will work like this. I will start by describing the main problems I am tackling, and then I will ask if any of those resonate with you. I would like to stress that I don’t have a finished product yet, and my objective is to learn from you, not to sell or pitch anything to you. The best way would be to meet in a Café if you are in Paris (France) or organize a Skype for a quick 15-20 minutes session. If it becomes too hard to set up, you would really help me by at least taking the time to fill up the following form and tell me about other traders you know that may have more time for an interview. Thx Guys, I reviewed his posts from earlier in December and didn't detect any impropriety so for now I will chalk this up to naiveté regarding our TOU. Regardless, he has been given a warning and any further actions along these lines will get him banned.
