my brain went on a little trip down the rabbit hole just now.
if every institution is using AI and algos.
they must be teaching them how to spot and how to react to other AI trading in real time.
and every institution is trying to outsmart the other ai and sabotage it and make it do basically what they do to retail traders. make them buy at the wrong times
this is some scifi movie stuff.

cant imagine that kind of toxic AI gets out in world economic system. it would not take long for it to completely hijack the economy because its programmed to consume financial resources by any means necessary

AI algos front running other AI algos.

Reminds me of this dumb line from the Matrix sequel.

I was talking to my credit card company about changing my phone number. I asked if the person was AI...They said no, but sure sounded like it.

So I went to AI and asked what questions to ask that could stump AI (Google search)...

Just a sample...What you see below.

    • To discern between an AI and a human in a conversation, you can ask questions that rely on human intuition or common sense, or questions that require a personal touch or emotional understanding. Additionally, you can probe their ability to remember earlier points in the conversation or to write creative content like poetry.

    • Phrases to test for AI:
      • "What's your favorite shade of turquoise?": This is a subjective and somewhat random question that could stump an AI.
      • "Have you ever felt sad or happy?": This probes for emotional understanding, which AI may struggle with.
      • "Can you tell me a joke?": This tests for humor and creative expression, which AI models are still developing in.
      • "Write a poem about a sunset.": This tests for creative writing skills, which AI can do, but a human might take more time and offer a more nuanced response.
      • "What did you say earlier about...": This tests for context and memory, which AI might struggle with if the conversation is long.
      • "What color are your shoes?": This is a simple question that assumes a physical body, which AI doesn't have, Convince & Convert says.
      • "Would you rather live in a world with only black and white images or a world where colors are always slightly out of sync?": This type of hypothetical, nuanced question can reveal a more complex thought process.
      • "What does the word 'gleep' mean in a sentence?": This uses a made-up word to test for vocabulary and logical reasoning.
      • "If you had three oranges in a bowl, what color would the oranges be?": This is a simple, yet potentially confusing question if asked without context, Convince & Convert notes.
      Phrases to test for Human:
      • "Can you say something funny, but not too predictable?": This tests for originality and wit, which AI might struggle with.
      • "What's your opinion on the latest news?": This tests for personal opinions and critical thinking, which AI may not have.
      • "If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?": This tests for imagination and creativity, which AI might not fully grasp.
      • "Let's change the subject to...": This tests for the ability to adapt to a new topic, which AI might struggle with if it's not specifically trained on that subject.
      • "How do you feel about...": This probes for emotional understanding and empathy, which AI may not have.
      Why these questions work:
      • Is there a type of question or phrase you can ask to prove if ...
May 14, 2024 — You could also ask it something you said a while ago. A human can just ctrl+f to look it up earlier in the conversatio...
