Brazil will be harvesting a BIG (record) bean crop soon. Brazil produces more soybeans than the U.S. so competes for export business to China which affects bean prices in the U.S.. If you follow the grain fundamentals in S.A., Pedro (@PHDChicago) is a good follow. Darin (@DDFalpha) is a good follow for U.S. grains. A recent thread from Pedro regarding beans in Brazil: ***If you trade charts & ignore fundis then ignore all above.
your intention is not clear. are you going to - buy - sell - avoid it? are you expecting another super rally? are you expecting the bull flag to change into a super bear channel?
the ETF Soyb closed yesterday $24.61. up 11.6 % in less than 6 weeks. The first post in this thread was Dec 19, 2021 I haven't sold anything.
cB641 have you settled in on a more statistical approach to your trades compared to what you get from charts? What do you input to your statistics raw data-wise?
Sorry there easymon1. I didn't see your response. I'm not much of a "country" guy, in spite of the login thing. That's more from having some acres in my last home, tractors and such. Many years ago, I had an affinity for the country girls, "Roll Tide", literally. Even had a building lot recently near Knoxville TN. Gatlinburg, etc. A throw back to an earlier time - Now sold. But that's just me - a simple person. A couple of threads ago, I ran into a couple of uncouth ruffians posting here. Seems there is no moderator. I don't mind any cussing, but if I'm offering methodology to anybody, the least they should do is show some respect. To answer your question, I do record some raw stats, on on my saved StockCharts stuff. Anyway, you can always PM me anytime. 908-674-0366 If you post here, I may or may not respond. A lot of trash here.
