A total of 35 male and 10 female patients were included in this study. ...The median age within males and females was comparable with 62 and 67.5 years, respectively. All patients presented at least one comorbidity. Well, yeah, 45 elderly people are going to have lower levels of these hormones in their system. This study FAILS on so many levels. Like the fact that they used just 45 elderly people in the study. What if they also used 45 folks who were forty years younger in median age, as a control group? Then we'd have some science.
