Nice to see even some socialists agree with the common sense position.

Denmark introduced the “No Ghetto” law which is similar to Singapore's ethnic quotas in residential neighborhoods. Its far from new mixing poor and rich has gone back many decades.

It works pretty well. No Old Man Trump and his red-lining buddies. No closing public pools and cutting noses off to spite faces.

FYI Mette Frederiksen is not a "Socialist".

I know it's an impossible dream but one day, before I die, I want to get the difference between social democracy and socialist into a boomers head.

Maybe I could write the difference on an axe. "Can you own a private business in Denmark?" If the answer is yes, not socialism, no matter how high the taxes are.

Social democracy = Capitalism with a strong welfare state (e.g., Denmark, Sweden, Germany).

Socialism = State (or worker) control of the means of production (e.g., old-school USSR, Cuba, or what Marx actually meant).

Mette Frederiksen runs a social democratic government, not a socialist one. Denmark still has a market economy, private businesses. This makes her a "social democrat" sounds like socialism, is not.

Who am I kidding? The axe is a better plan.
