All ultra-red states, and that's no coincidence.

Are normally the states with the least access to medical care and the worst diets.

    This should not be surprising.

I have two parents in the rest home, both in their 90's. Believe me, longevity is not a blessing.

My great grandfather died when he tripped on the stairs storing his lawnmower in the basement for the winter. Now that's the way to go.

Bush Sr. had it right, when you get that old, start doing risky things, like jumping from airplanes.

pic per wikipedia on percentage of blacks residing in state. The darker the blue, the more blacks.

Leftist deniers think the reason for the high death rate is a color that doesn't show on the map. Red.

true. we are in the 21st century. Time to address the problem of race without being accused of racism. Same goes for education. It is largely a problem with blacks.

I doubt very seriously if switching ruling parties will affect my lifespan much, unless it is shortened due to stress from watching the news.

How are we do handle it if the "black" person is actually light-toned, though? And what to do about "whites" with heavy tans? I mean, at times in the past couple of years, Boehner has been darker than Obama.

check out a book called "I Got Schooled". It was quite an eye opener. If only white suburban schools were tested, USA score higher on the tests than all industrialized countries, even beating the shit out of Finland by over 20 points.

Yet, if only black inner schools were tested they scored way down below most third world countries.

and so the national average for USA looks very bad

so the conclusion is, we don't have a teaching or school problem, we have a race problem. And if you want to help, you must acknowledge that. So getting back to OP, life expectancy must be viewed by race if it turns out blacks die sooner than whites. I doubt it is genetic. A true test would be do wealthy blacks tend to outlive poor blacks? But if blacks over all tend to die sooner than most whites, the problem should be addressed not by who your governor is. And other than anonymously on the internet, most are afraid to say this publicly.

So we should use IQ tests to determine race? I'm not so sure, there's some pretty dark "whites" out there--what if they score high? Or vice versa?

dumbass, we're not talking skin color, we're talking living conditions. Especially predominately black or Hispanic inner cities. If you had a massive federal bussing program and could drop blacks like little chocolate chips in all the white suburbs, the problem would probably go away.
