So after years of practice and searching, you finally find an edge.

    What do you do?

    Become an internet guru?

    Trade it yourself?

    Join a prop shop?

  2. Trade it yourself, never tell a soul unless you've already secured several lifetimes' worth of wealth, and enjoy life.

these posts never cease to amaze me. WTF else would you do with it?

it is not a treasure that you looking for, and then found and thinking how to spend it :)

the edge is not just the set of rules that transforms the method from a bad one to the good one

the edge is a transformation to the traders himself which happens while achieving that edge

to what one will be transformed - is hard to tell.... until one is transformed :)

  4. Suggest you be cautious about what you believe to be "edge".

There are only 2 genuine edges... front running and trading on insider info. Both illegal in US markets.

  5. I think you're confusing the term "edge" with "riskless money".

  6. I disagree with this. The best edge I ever had was with an option prop firm--- it was like free money ,a true edge. it had nothing to do with personal transformation or any kind of psychology-- it just worked again and again and again. In fact, the firms best traders were those with zero trading experience since they would just follow the directions. surf

  7. Not illegal in commodities. (insider info) :D but then again, we were invested in a commodity fund that "owned or controlled" the means of production, etc-- and it was nearly wiped out-- so you really never know...

The edge will likely last about 2 weeks then work at times but ultimately likely cost you money, so sadly the smart move is to become an Internet guru.

  9. This is why you don't pay some internet guru to train you. If they had the goods there is no way they would share it with Joe Retail for $2500. Lesson learned the hard way....twice.
