    Smyte snags $4M to combat email spam
    San Francisco-based Smyte, a cybersecurity startup focused oncombating email spam, said it has raised $4M in a Series A funding round. The funding was led by Avalon Ventures, and also included Baseline Ventures, Founder Collective, Harrison Metal, Upside Partnership and Y Combinator. Smyte's founders include Pete Hunt (Facebook's React.js), Julian Tempelsman (Google) and Josh Yudaken (Instagram).(Silicontap)

    Yeah, think I'll wait until their product has been out a while and see how it pans out in real life.

    Lots of players in the anti-spam market with large budgets.
