This guy is a lawyer in NYC (hello jem, is that you?) http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/10/signs_pointing_to_a_mccain_vic.html He thinks that he is a thinker. He certainly thinks a lot more than the Bush-McCain lovers here on ET. It's a fun read.
I said the same thing over a week ago. As a Chicagoan I obviously know more Obama supporters than not. Hell the 32 year old Treasurer of Illinois who got his political start working for Obama lives in my building. More and more though I've detected Obamamania receding into blasé' partisan politics. Let's face it other than kids or impressionable minorities few people with brains believe Obama offers "change." Being different from Bush but pretty much the same as LBJ or Carter isn't even the reinvention of government let alone of the wheel......
"Change" is marketing tool. nobody cares about that. I never took this messiah thing seriously. but he's smart, that's for sure It's healthy to kick the ruling party of the 8 years out mainly because of competence rather than ideological issues (Katrina, 9/11, financial crisis , Irak) Let's give them 4 years, if they don't deliver, they'll be kicked out
