It's been increasing since early last year or as some would say since the Pandemic began all over...even in very nice neighborhoods that typically have very low crime.

I did not expect it too decline just because we have a new President. In my opinion, I don't expect it too decline until most people are back to work and there's no longer a Pandemic.

People commit crime when there's opportunity and the Pandemic increased dramatically a lot more opportunities with mask wearing. There's just too many angry people out there looking for ways to make money.

In South Dakota, my brother's Range Rover was stolen in the middle of the day in a rural town he lives in after he stopped at a bakery to pick up a cake from a store that's been struggling since re-opening.

Thieves seen driving his car out of town...were teenagers.

I support the 2d Amendment but don't make a false equivalency that gun ownership magically reduces crime:

With the crime increase, it is smart to own a gun.

 

Crime increases as unemployment increases and decreases as unemployment decreases.
