These were their final predictions. Compare this to the actual results and it's hard to get more accurate than this. I will be giving more weight to their polls than others in future elections.
538 did not declare AtlasIntel to be the most accurate pollster in 2020. AtlasIntel is currently ranked as 22 in 538's pollster ratings. Going back on internet archives you can see that this has been their typical ranking over time back for the past few years. They self-declared themselves to be the most accurate pollster. Something that did not turn out to be true BTW. They merely compared themselves only to polling firms that were less accurate and set constraints on the dates/time/numbers of polls to create a comparison where they appeared to be on top. AtlasIntel is confirmed as the most accurate pollster of the 2020 Presidential Election https://atlasintel.org/media/atlasi...te-pollster-of-the-2020-presidential-election
That wasn't Ricter's point. He was being snarky about the whole "landslide" thing. He's still chapped over that, and is taking the usual potshots in various places around the forum. What he understands, but won't accept is that percentages can be small, but when applied to large numbers make a big difference. But give him time. The Stages of Grief, and all.
I wouldn't expect you to admit that. But bringing a topic into another thread that had nothing to do with it does indicate its bothering you. Let it all out, Ricter. You'll feel better.
