well yes of course i would. 100%. a normal option is psychologically useless at greater distances

 

I have been trading (selling with black swan hedging) options with 3 days or less. IV is so high on short termed SPY options right now. For now weeklys or less have been great.

 

You mean you haven't been? Smile. Best game in town and bang for your buck, but you better know what you're doing.

How do you hedge?

 

Depends on your trading strategy. FWIW I use them in mine. Best to backtest with them and/or validate with simulated trading.
