Allies are Afghan people who worked for the American military in Afghanistan.

  5. That. After 20 years, if the country's own military won't stand up to the Taliban, then the hell with it all.

I would assume the Afghans would choose a side which suited them, not because they loved democracy.
I think their upbringing has them rather side with the team which lays out a prayer mat each day.

Don’t get it twisted. Many many unaffiliated and marginally affiliated Afghans are trying to catch a ride out that have no right to get one. Processing these thousands and thousands of people will be a massive undertaking. There isn’t another country on this planet who could do this better than us or would even be as generous as us.

    But, thanks for the hatred.

  9. When it comes to fighting wars and playing world cop you are absolutely correct. All enemies have to do is wait us out. We have no staying power or stomach for the long haul and these people have been at war for decades, centuries in some cases. No one should trust us to "protect" them.
