Short Whiting Petroleum?

    Whiting Petroleum made round about 130% today.
    Is it rational to short it this afternoon?

    It might be rational... but that doesn't necessarily mean profit.

    Do you think that Uncle Jerome will step in and bail them out?

    I think that Whiting Petroleum won't end up with over 100% at the end of the day. They probably will regain their economical strength in the next month(s), but that "hype" that was created in the last hours won't last that long.
