Hello fellow traders, I would like to ask you for some help. I would like to expand my knowledge in short-term (day trading)trading. I am thinking about reading several books on that matter and testing out some of the ideas that I found in these books. Could you please tell me what was the best book you have ever read about short-term technical analysis, short-term trading patterns , day trading patterns or anything that would be useful to someone who is interested in short-term trading. Thank you very much about your help! Prop Trader
Trade with a sim account or a small real account and write your own book. It is very hard to learn from other people because in addition to patterns there are other conditions that cannot be described in books. I believe trading cannot be taught it is only learned by making mistakes.
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Pro Trader/trends; Books include;Market Makers Edge, by Joshua Lukeman, + Jack Schwager top trading books help[some time frames,LOL]; make sure you keep records comparing your daytrading to swing position trading., profits............................................................................................. Then when you do that long enough, ,,,,,,,you may figure out why that market maker had so many, many, many, many, many mult-imonth charts.Cool
The last time I moved, I gave away an armful to my neighbor. You won't find the holy grail in a book. It takes lots of hard work.
For me, books just give u basic knowledge. How u apply is a whole different thing. Personally, i prefer learning from a mentor who is a fulltime trader
everybody wants a shortcut - mentor, etc... the truth is : sooner or later you will have to do the work.
