Wow, this was a CNN and not a Fox News poll?

Americans really wish they had elected Mitt Romney instead of Obama

    Mitt Romney 2014?

Americans are so down on President Obama at the moment that, if they could do the 2012 election all over again, they'd overwhelmingly back the former Massachusetts governor's bid. That's just one finding in a brutal CNN poll, released Sunday, which shows Romney topping Obama in a re-election rematch by a whopping nine-point margin, 53 percent to 44 percent. That's an even larger spread than CNN found in November, when a survey had Romney winning a redo 49 percent to 45 percent.

Two years ago, Obama won re-election with about 51 percent of the vote.

Of course, the poll should be taken with a grain of salt. While Obama is actually taking on the tough task of leading the nation, Romney is sitting comfortably on the sidelines. Still, the finding comes as foreign and domestic crises have sent Obama's approval rating tumbling back to 40 percent, per Gallup.
Also in the CNN survey, a record-low 46 percent say Obama "shares [their] values," while only 49 percent say he is "sincere in what he says," also a record-low.

And if Romney had won, everyone would now wish they'd voted for Obama. Nothing new or different.

right its got nothing to do with his leftist policies and ideas. This would have happened to Romney too. sure... whatever you say.
Romney had experience making this work... obama was a community organizer.
Romey knew Russia was a geopolitical foe... obama made jokes about the 80s.
Romney would have lower taxes. Obama raised them in all sorts of ways.

And yet he was elected twice.

  5. And then people ask me why I'm so pessimistic about the future of this country.
The first election was somewhat understandable. Bush was a colossal screw up, the economy was in shambles, McCain picked Palin, etc., etc., hey under those circumstances even a black guy with no experience wins, which is why the far left dominated DNC abandoned Hillary. They saw their shot and went for it. OK, I get that.
Fast forward through four years of abject failure on multiple fronts and you would think the country would say, enough of that experiment, let's go with a guy who actually knows something. Nope! Can't do that. We must re-elect the black guy to REALLY prove we're not a nation of racists. Forget the country and the world are falling apart on every imaginable level. What's important is proving we're not a bunch of racists to people who will never believe we're not a bunch of racists regardless of who gets elected.
Like I say, ya' just can't be that f'n stupid and expect things to turn out well.

Partisan hacks like dbphoenix would vote for obama a third time if he could, regardless of the train wreck his administration has been.

You know it's funny you bring up Russia. I remember during the campaign when Romney warned about Russia and MSNBC and CNN mocked and him and laughed, "what is this, the cold war all over again". I admit, I thought he lost a lot of street cred by warning about Russia. It turns out he was right after all. Didn't see that one coming...

As I've said several times, Obama is incompetent for the job.
