  1. How did you start?
    How long did it take?
What advice do you give now walking the same path as you did?

  5. I am far from wealthy, but i have made my living strictly from the markets and communicating about the markets since 2002-after my publishing business went under----i have what i want, do what i want, when i want, work when i want------ --- most of this success is launched from relationships built on this site--there is/was tremendous value here ---- hence my attraction-- LOL!

Advice is to build relationships with all kinds of folks in the financial business. Extremely few make it as loners-- have ancillary cash flow streams outside of just trading/investing. Don't fall into the trap of just thinking about trading, think about the entire trading BUSINESS.

    Good luck!

  7. Thank you very much. Enjoyed reading your post.

What is stopping you from "far from being wealthy"? Is it that a lot of money doesn't mean that much to you and living frugally is good enough for you? Or is it the freedom that was what you wanted not having loads of money?

  9. Yes, i value freedom over massive wealth but i don't live frugally by any stretch.

I suspect there are more "moderate wealth to higher than average wealth" stories than there are rags to riches stories.

Nonetheless, it would be nice if some of the more modest members let loose a little and shared their stories.
