  1. C'mon Man, y'all know this does not have a good look to it and all that bloviating and excuse making is just tripe.

Some of you lefties need to learn how to left a little better. These are just little kids. It is not like they are wearing MAGA hats or or some religous symbol or an American flag - one of your usual triggers that causes you to dismiss people. Just little kids.

Well this sort of thing will happen to these children all throughout their lives into adulthood. Not only in places of recreation and retail but they will most likely face differential treatment in school and work and healthcare and for housing and finance. Some might even say it’s systemic.

  4. That being said, lefty environments whose entire purpose and messaging is focused on being superior and virtue signaling to others in such matters- NPR being Exhibit A- should be held to higher standards.

They "are going to provide training in inclusiveness." Yeh. well, just start by not being an asshole.

Are you talking about White people being excluded from jobs especially in Government
Minorities make up a majority of the Government and police in the biggest cities

Whites are a majority in 52 of the biggest 100 cities

Just to follow up on this point…

What I will say is this probably will make things easier for Ms. Jones. Clean out the racists and start anew. Interestingly, Kenly is a rather diverse little town.

You are pushing incomplete information. Everyone should note the following:
    • This particular town manager had been fired from both of her previous town manager jobs in short periods of time. The jobs were located in Virginia and South Carolina. In both situations she sued the towns claiming the termination of her employment was due to race and hostile work environment.
    • ALL the full-time town employees quit. Not just the police. A number of the employees were black. Of course the largest department in a small town is the police department. But the clerks and everyone else quit as well.
    • Most people in Kenly wonder why this manager was hired -- considering her dismal from her previous positions. Kenly is a small town of about 2000 people in Johnson County.
The story has been covered in depth by our local media. The Raleigh News & Observer covered the story in great detail this past Sunday. Most of the quotes are very different than the one from the single resident of the town claiming it was due to her being black.

I will also note that the stories circulating on social media locally about employee's complaints regarding Justine Jones -- if the stories are truthful -- make her out to be an unhinged nutjob.

And here is the information from a previous town which employed her. In the opinion of most local people Justine Jones is attempting to pull the same antics in Kenly.

    Richland County Council at Work
    https://www.blythewoodonline.com/2017/05/richland-county-council-at-work/

COLUMBIA – Throughout 53 pages of detailed testimony, evidence and correspondence submitted to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in April 2015, Richland County documented the unfounded nature of every charge of racial and sexual discrimination brought by disgruntled former employee Justine Jones.

The EEOC reviewed the case and found there were no charges worth investigating.

Having already lost her internal complaint before a County grievance panel before appealing to the EEOC, the only option remaining for Jones was to sue, which she did in January 2017.

A month later, despite the county’s official position for two years being that Jones’ charges were completely without merit, County Council agreed to settle out of court with Jones, costing taxpayers $175,000.
