Too bad it tastes like cardboard. I am just starting to dive into bread baking as a hobby. I just got a book yesterday from Amazon. I've been making pizza dough for years but have never really tried to bake my own loaves of traditional bread so this should be interesting.
In 30 minutes my bread is gonna be done. I have been doing it for 3-4 years. Mix ingredients than let the machine do the rest for 2-3 hours. I like to experience so I keep messing with the recipes. I tried making sourdough, but that takes lots of patience and messing around. Although I love the bread, I can't make it. https://www.oster.com/cooking-appli...ith-gluten-free-setting/SAP_CKSTBR9050NP.html
Yeah, on its own it's rather bland. But toasted well and smeared with almond butter, it's quite good. I prefer the Genesis bread made by the same company, which is more substantial and tastier, but I haven't been able to find that loaf nearby recently. Sure, homemade breads taste great and smell crazy good while baking, but are they as good for you? Also, being a Gentleman of Leisure, I prefer not to bake my own.
Is it because it contains additives like L-Cysteine? It is used to make the bread last longer. L-Cystenine is probably made from HUMAN HAIR. Home made bread - no additive Enjoy eating whatever bread
Trust me, I am lazy. Takes less than 10 minutes to get the ingredients in and mix it a bit, the rest is the machine...
I don't have gluten sensitivity either. But what is your point? As I see it, the idea isn't principally about great-tasting bread, because pretty much all freshly baked bread both smells and tastes great. It's about a ~good-tasting bread that's actually good for you.
