I'm a beginner in the trading world, eager to learn and improve my skills. I've been exploring various resources and trying to understand the basics, but I feel overwhelmed by the vast amount of information available. I'm reaching out to this community to seek guidance and mentorship. If anyone is willing to share their experiences, recommend resources, or provide advice on how to navigate the complexities of trading, I would greatly appreciate it.
Good Evening hayato009, You are a good place to learn the ET website forum. I learned how to be a consistent profitable ES trader from reading the post here on ET forum and talking to other futures traders here on ET website forum. Just start a new thread for whatever question you have and practice the trading ideas/setups/methods members tell you to try. Then you will see what works and make money. Welcome the forum.
I think you must first define for yourself what it is you are trying to accomplish, in what period of time, and with what available capital. That will narrow your choices. The way you framed the question, you will get even more overwhelmed.
Ingest and digest everything with a very open and neutral, objective, mind. It will take a minimum of five years before you become a legitimate, solidified, trading success. If even. So be very patient. And learn to think and process independently, creatively, originally. Don't just be another mindless zombie sheep book reader, rule follower.
Spend a few hours and read this forum. Figure out whose worth listening to and then ask them specifically for help
