Seeing Numbers and Charts in my sleep!

  1. Hi. I'm fairly new to trading and have dedicated the last few weeks to studying and learning the markets. Anyway, does anyone have any advice on taking care of your eyes? This is the first time I've had a job staring at a computer screen and not sure what I can do. I'm trading on a 27" 2018 IMAC using Interactive Brokers's TWS and it seems to being burning into my brain. Watching the trading book reminds of the 80's movie "Runaway", with Tom Selleck and the little mechanical spiders running up and down. Or I'm reminded of the infamous scene when Leo and Matthew have their talk. Would appreciate any help. Thanks

Look away from time to time. Also, get blue blocker glasses and/or a low blue light monitor to protect your eyes.

Seeing your work in your dreams is probably a good thing.

  4. Thanks. I will get some on Amazon now. I will check setting on MAC as well. The 5K screen is great for photos and video but when you concentrating on a price and chart it started to get to me.

I use white blackground and dark bars, eyedrops every 2 hours, have an alarm on laptop for every 20 minutes to get up for a minute or two, have to protect your legs and back. Don't want to get blood clots in legs. I use to have keyboard on rack and treadmill and 30" screen on wall, after awhile office looks like a gym, then comes juicing machine, screens on all 4 walls. Now have automation, and 2 laptops, my office is anywhere, sold the house.

  8. When your obsessed people think your nuts... I always tell people, if no one thinks you are crazy, you are not yet operating to the outer limits of your potential, your not there yet

That's a deep part indeed, great video!

  9. Why aren't you in St . Kitz, St. John's, or the Cayman Islands ?

  10. I prefer my trading method that takes about ten minutes a day to implement. I check my screen a few times a day, but hanging on every tick is insane.
