After graduating from UW in 1972 Bundy joined Governor Daniel J. Evans's reelection campaign. Posing as a college student, he shadowed Evans's opponent, former governor Albert Rosellini, recording his stump speeches for analysis by Evans's team. After Evans's reelection he was hired as an assistant to Ross Davis, Chairman of the Washington State Republican Party. Davis thought well of Bundy, describing him as "smart, aggressive ... and a believer in the system." In early 1973, despite mediocre Law School Admission Test scores, Bundy was accepted into the law schools of UPS and the University of Utah on the strength of letters of recommendation from Evans, Davis, and several UW psychology professors. During a trip to California on Republican Party business in the summer of 1973 Bundy came back into the life of ex-girlfriend Brooks, who marveled at his transformation into a serious, dedicated professional, seemingly on the cusp of a distinguished legal and political career. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Bundy
Gacy was a democrat in many more ways than one, first off he was a leach who required his parents to pay for a car for him, secondly he was a queer, and third he was a homicidal maniac, also he was clearly capable of some self reflection, as he was always in to dressing up like a clown, itd be nice if the rest of the clowns in the democrat party dressed in their clown uniforms so we could more easily spot, and shun them. At the age of 18, Gacy became involved in politics, working as an assistant precinct captain for a Democratic Party candidate in his neighborhood. This decision earned more criticism from his father, who accused his son of being a "patsy".[17] Gacy himself later speculated the decision may have been an attempt to seek the acceptance from others that he never received from his father. The same year Gacy became a Democratic Party candidate, his father bought him a car,[18] with the title of the vehicle being in his father's name until Gacy had completed the monthly repayments to his father. These repayments took several years to complete, and his father would confiscate the keys to the vehicle if Gacy would not do as his father said. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Wayne_Gacy
