Having built large scale systems I can tell you that Obamacare software is poorly designed, clearly patched together with too many cooks in the kitchen (writing code that was poorly interfaced), lack of coding standards and will NEVER work as it should. A total re-write starting from a blank slate is the only approach to have any kind of stable system for the long term. You cannot put band-aids on problems that require major surgery. For the very reason she stated about "surge in demand" is WHY she should step down. Lieing to the public is pathetic. Also, her idiotic comment "The majority of people calling for me to resign I would say are people who I don't work for" makers her look like a total moron. Taxpayer dollars are paying her salary. So she does, in fact, work for "the people". I guess politicians, from Obama on down REFUSE to tell the truth to the public. I guess Democrats think if they yell LOUD enough they will convince the public that it's just Republicans trying to be the "bad guys" when in fact they (Dems) REFUSE to take responsibility for a failed system that continues to cost use a ton of $$$ by the day as they clearly have an incredible number of coders and consultants in there working around the clock trying to fix this albatross. Can't do it .... they'll tell us they can (will) but in the end it will be a nightmare for whomever tries to maintain and and enhancements along the way.
