PM who is recently retired & divorced and relocated to Scottsdale (DC Ranch). Looking for like-minded experienced equity traders interested in sharing some upscale office space. looking to build it out with Gb-broadband, Bloomberg, etc. I don't know if there is enough interest to make it work but it's worth a shot.
Why do you need to rent office space with other random traders to trade? Just do it from home, on your phone with a stylus like a true Trader of Elite
i can't help it when i see rent i think money thrown away. 14362 N Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85260 - Vision Offices Executive Suites & The Park | LoopNet 1st Floor, Ste 1260 2,355 SF Negotiable $2.08 /SF/MO Office Full Build-Out $4,898.month x 12 = $58,776 year 10 traders pay $700. month? --- i spent 50k having 4.7 miles of att fiber run to my mancave, granted it also served my daughters small internet business also, i have commercial power, generator backup and 2 more sperate internet backups. the building - internet - everything was far less than 100k.
I think the hurdle is location and job specificity. I have been looking looking into tokenized real world assets in order to live in a nice place in a nice town for free or near free.
I've been doing this a long time and think that a prop-like environment makes a lot of sense if people are vetted and not simply accepted on their ability to contribute their rent-share. I've worked in traditional prop (Quad Capital).
which, trading and making money or selling hope to wanna be traders in a prop shop and providing them a place to lose all their money? never seen a single prop shop work out for the traders.
You need to get out more. Quad and FNYS are two examples. Average earnings of Quad traders was >$1M when I was there. Top seat made $17M my last year at Quad.
