Schwab, Taxes and UVXY Options

    I’m anticipating my taxes for next year, and I understand that Schwab/TOS will not segregate my profits/losses on UVXY OPTIONS onto the simple Sec. 1256 IRS form that trading futures and some other products automatically generate. So, what is the best way to break these options trade out from my equity trades, including UVXY etf trades, and claim them as Sec. 1256? Software? Attract a spreadsheet to the other Sec. 1256 trades? I’m anticipating a mess.

    It's reported fine - consistent with 1256. However how the values are aggregated between 1256 and regular trades is confusing - you need to put them on your taxes properly but software like TurboTax make this a real challenge...
