  2. pretty good specs, but not a good warranty. Also, I've read that TigerDirect is not the most customer friendly post-sale.
     
  3. Try OfficeMax.com, they have a SOYO 24" for $299. I have 4 of them, happy so far. Have 8 Sceptre 19's, each one bought was less well made, dead pixels has been the major problem.

    Those gear-heads should give you a good idea with 73 reviews to browse through. Newegg is great for getting computer component feedback.

    FWIW, I just picked up two Samsung 245BW @ Best Buy for $429.99 each ($70 discount sale). Granted a bit more than what you may be looking for, they easily compete with the $600-700 24" LCD's available. My charts, tools, and text have never looked this good and crisp. Very easy on the eyes.
