thru the years i have seen all sorts of things brought up to make a trading environment more pleasurable, but i have never seen anyone discuss scents as being one of them. i am wondering if anyone has some experience with this and could share some insights. i'm good on music for programming lol.. but maybe a scent for trading?
Scents stink. I prefer a neutral environment. I'm a minimalist If you need incense and smells to succeed in trading... you have problems in your understanding process trade Don't attempt voodoo luck success. Walk the straight and narrow because that's the only way you're gonna survive in this life I listen to early 90s pop music to get my mind and body back into motion Just like that. Just like that
The best scent is scentless aromatic perfume/freshener. Because lots of scents contain toxic chemicals (equivalent to Ultra Processed Food) which cause nose inflammation, terrible headache, fainting spell.... It could lead to nose infection, then nose cancer and ultimately death. Avoid those airborne unnatural / denatured chemicals at all cost. If you have natural pleasant smelling products (flowers, wood plank, wood bark, spice ...) in your trading room, then that's fine.
If you get epoxy resin and mix solvent with it in a plastic bucket, then put a match to it, You'll get an explosion of scent sent to you in one trade.
There were some interesting findings with mice and the small of mint though it might only help @themickey When mice with Alzheimer’s inhaled menthol, their cognitive abilities improved https://theconversation.com/when-mice-with-alzheimers-inhaled-menthol-their-cognitive-abilities-improved-230330#:~:text=Surprisingly, mice with Alzheimer's showed, improved memory and learning capabilities.
Maybe we can sell some scratch & sniff menthol pads for trading success. Mark will be our first customer.
One thing which works a treat is boiling a large pot of green cabbage, make sure to leave the doors and windows open.
