Hi, I currently use a TWS scanner like this below which gives me a list of the biggest fallers and risers : However, this lists a lot of stocks which don't fit my criteria. I am only interested in those stocks which have weekly options listed. I cannot seem to find a way to enforce that criteria to reduce the above list. I've searched for ways in the 'Add Field' below, but cannot find a suitable filter : The only workaround I can think of is to create a watchlist of my own, and add in the 600 odd stocks that have weeklies. Is there any other service (Barchart, etc?) which can provide a list of fallers/risers with weeklies?
I use TDA/ThinkOrSwim option scanner (called "Option Hacker"), which is free. I didn't see exactly a way to select only weeklies, but you can set "days to expiration" as your criteria, thus catching both monthly and weekly options expiring within a week or so.
Hi @guru, I had a feeling you'd be the guy to respond to my query. Sorry, I should have mentioned in the original post - I live in the barren, trading wastelands known as the UK - we are not eligible to have TDA/ToS. So, IB (or TastyWorks) are the only brokers that I am aware of which take on clients in this country.
Ivolatility has a scanner. www.sweepcast.com a new scanner may not be what you are looking for but neat.
Maybe also paid version of Market Chameleon, which seems to allow selecting days-till-expiration: https://marketchameleon.com/Screeners/Options
Hello, did you solve the problem? I have the same questions. How do I filter by delta and days to exp? Its very easy in TOS... Regards
I use tos demo from uk to model strategies, 20min delayed... On Finviz you can select optionable stocks as a scanning filter, although not specifically weeklies.
