Scandinavian Fixed Income

  1. It’s great to see IB expand into new markets like Taiwan.

However, why aren’t bonds issued by the Scandinavian governments or corporations available and tradable in their local currencies at IB (NOK,SEK,DKK)?

@def you’ve previously mentioned that regarding IB market access in Asia, it’s largely due to the wide FX. That surely can't be the reason regarding lack of market access in this case?

Is there an etf for this market?

If you trade those markets, why not find a local broker? us based brokers are not everything.

For Bonds, liquidity and data are the keys. There is an effort going on to increase and add liquidity providers in Europe which will hopefully expand the offering. I don't have an ETA but there has a higher priority.

I thought it would be rolled out by now. I'll check again today on the ETA

  7. @def Thank you. Please let me know how it's progressing.

update: getting close, hopefully before end of Feb.

  9. Thank you @def . Any further information on this would be great. Using TWS Bond Scanner, I still can't see any choice for those currencies in the drop-down filters.
