Hi all, Seeking some guidance. I am trying to keep these ECN fees down and have tried my best to add liquidity but mostly fail. I trade short time frame (2m) and wait for confirmations of breaches of candles or support/resistance areas to enter and exit quick. I hit the bids / offers with market orders most times as it is how I would prefer to trade. Questions: - What ECN routes are cheapest for removing liquidity ? - I have set up hot keys to place an order 1 cent above the last price. That way when it approached the area I order. When it breaches, it fulfils the order. This also incurs the ECN fee so I take it this also removes liquidity because I am ahead of bid? Any guidance on how I may reduce fees, set up hot keys, or other is welcomed. Many thanks Volt.
Brokers usually list available routes and fees on website. Removing liquidity implies urgency. Reducing fees means you may not get filled or will be filled at worse price. Reducing fees should be at the end of your concerns list, imho.
There is no bit of advice that is going to overcome this. You are giving away the game. You are showing up to the Boston Marathon without shoes. On purpose. You have taken to the floor of the NBA Finals with a blindfold, fully accepting echolocation because that "is how I prefer" to game. If you traded properly, and gave away half your earnings, you'd still end up with more in your pocket.
Thanks for the entertaining response. Love the analogies. As said, happy for suggestions. Otherwise, go into stand up rather than simply stating what the problem is without offering a solution. Too many ppl like that in the world. Dont be another.
