Saudi prince: $100-a-barrel oil 'never' again
    http://www.usatoday.com/story/money...audi-prince-alwaleed-oil-100-barrel/21484911/

Saudi billionaire businessman Prince Alwaleed bin Talal told me we will not see $100-a-barrel oil again. The plunge in oil prices has been one of the biggest stories of the year. And while cheap gasoline is good for consumers, the negative impact of a 50% decline in oil has been wide and deep, especially for major oil producers such as Saudi Arabia and Russia. Even oil-producing Texas has felt a hit.

The world is alot more efficient at using oil, i know my latest car uses a lot less fuel than the one i had 10 years ago. Also maybe $100+ oil for many years helped fund and kickstart a lot of new projects. Now they are online they dont require those high startup costs anymore.

Should have never been at 100.
People think they're getting a bargain at 2 bucks a gallon.
Should be selling for no more than 50 cents.
    Peak oil...LOL
Ooooh...we can't survive if oil goes below 80...

    BULLSHIT.

  5. As I recall didn't we agree to pay high oil prices to persuade the mid east to allow us to conduct our operations over there? I recall reading lots of stories implying such things, now that we're gone that gentleman's agreement is quite through.

Of course, though, all that is important is that big oil keeps making big money.
The other 300+ million folks in the country don't matter.
    LOL

  9. and T. Boone Pickens said just last August that Brent Crude would NEVER fall below $100. Just follow the trends
