    Hi

Can anyone recommend a safe desktop app which will alert me of the different opening and closing times of the worlds stock exchanges including public holidays etc. I have seen a few but these day am wary of installing an app if I dont know the source.

    Any (safe) recommendations welcomed.

  2. It's not an alarmclock, just the info.

I had found this but ideally wanted something I can leave running on the desktop etc.

    Thanks anyway!

  4. If you don't mind doing the exchange settings, I've been using this free alarm clock for years without trouble. But maybe the Hot Alarm Clock in the lower right of the page would better meet your needs for holidays.

I personally do not run apps or gadgets, but I bookmark "various sites" for reference.

If you must have an "alarm" you could set up google calendar for re-occurring events for pop up, sms, or email message.
