S&P has not reached all time highs yet Nasdaq reaching all time highs? People are selling real companies that rely on robust economy and buying bitcoins and inflated tech stocks. S&P is techncially still bearish and weak price action .nasdaq is a sector not a represent of the economy. nasdaq market is comparable to the bitcoin market Nasdaq and bitcoin is for kids S&P is where serious money invest.
Even back in 1999, it was only nasdaq that was rally insane with high p/e etc. cause it wasn't real stock market. The S&P 500 is where the real and serious money invest and fundamentals matter. like p/e etc. and profits and asset values and debt etc. nasdaq is like the Bitcoin market. it's just trading at high values and doesn't mean it's worth it an investment. sure some individual stocks could be 100x baggers but that is not the 'market'
oil was trading a .01/barrel for breif period doesn't mean it was worth .01/barrel. a brief moment in time. is one day
Inflated Tech Stocks? Never understood why everyone said inflated, higher risk than usual... regarding tech.
it's a differnet market and reason for investing in nasdaq its speculative as for inflated. investors want dividends or want their money back in the future.
but the rest of the S$P is weak and bad fundamentals. nasdaq tech is sector and no reflective of the 'market' or economy like bitcoins but those 6 nasdaq stocks are the nasdaq the rest of nasdaq just moves with those 6 stocks. those 6 nasdaq stocks make up less 1.5% of s$p 500 and insignificant.
